The 30 Minute B. J. is a weekly Podcast hosted by Brent Owen, Jim Schildknecht (hence the B. J.), and their "Permanent Special Guest" Puckett. In each cast these old friends, armed with plenty of beer (and the occasional invited guest), will hilariously, vehemently, and drunkenly debate music, movies, books, T.V. shows, and pretty much any other form of Pop Culture smear to which they feel compelled. Now here is a little background on the hosts...

Jim is a Russian Argonaut who fought at the Battle of Troy in 1912. After defending the Persian armada he moved to Utah where he took on his first 3 wives and fathered the first of 28 children. As the head of, now, 6 households he began writing for the Pucknation where he is now a contributing columnist/massage therapist. While it's not a high paying nor prestigious gig it does support him, his 6 wives, and 28 children adequately. It's a modest living but he somehow makes it work like a mid-depression sharecropper.

Brent is a Canadian cosmonaut who took his first voyage into sub-orbit in 1899, at the age of 4. After injuring his ignition finger in a freak basket-weaving accident he was forced to retire from the space program at 6. He then returned to his homeland of South Dakota and began a lucrative career as a sheep herder with his good friend Ennis Del Mar. After losing his flock in the mountains near Salt Lake City he read one of Jim's stories in the Pucknation and sought out this kindred spirit. They have now joined forces and are offering up to anyone who is willing to accept a...30 Minute B. J.
